There is something with happening with my Daily Immune Liposomal Vitamin C!

We’re very sorry for your poor experience with our Elderberry Vitamin C. As you know, we take great pride in the quality of our products and endeavor to use minimal and only clean ingredients in all our formulations. Sometimes this leads to tradeoffs and in this case our Elderberry Liposomal Vitamin C is not as stable as we’d like. You can rest assured that your product is absolutely safe to consume. We run dozens of full panel microbial tests internally and with third party labs for every single batch of product to ensure there is no contamination or microbial activity of any kind. We do this on both aging product and new product in an ongoing process.

Puffing Packets

The reason these packets are puffing is because we adamantly refuse to use any preservatives (other than organic lemon and apple juice) in the product to stabilize the elderberry concentrate (which is frozen when we receive it). They are puffing due to an enzymatic process in its interaction with our liposomes. We’re not thrilled with this side effect but have found it to be like exploding kombucha, coconut yogurt or kimchi.

Update: We have found a way to fix this and a new improved formulation (with the same ingredient panel) will be available by early November 2021.

Flavor Variance

Any variance in flavor is due completely to the fact that we are sourcing our elderberry in batches from several small, family owned farms. Starting in mid 2022, we will only be using the elderberry juice produced by one trusted partner so we can achieve greater flavor consistency.

Bubbles in Film

Bubbles that appear in the bottom of the packet are air pockets formed by bubbles between the film laminate and the external aluminum layer and not the parts touching the product. Unfortunately, we purchased a batch of poorly manufactured film packaging where the laminate separates w the aluminum at high pressures or temperatures. We are unable to determine whether this will happen at manufacturing as it takes several weeks and air shipping to happen, and only to select batches of the packaging! While this product is perfectly safe for consumption, we will be very happy to refund you for your purchase or send you free replacements on us.

Update: We have already fixed this problem and all product sold from October 2021 onwards will no longer have this packaging issue.

Please accept our sincerest apologies about the massive inconvenience and disappointment as we try to extend our minimal ingredient, radically natural philosophy to disrupting traditional supplements.
